Scattergoods Agency Asks For Help In Choosing Charities

Scattergoods Agency, a recruitment company specialising in the hospitality industry based in Surrey, United Kingdom, has announced the start of their yearly Christmas give back initiative by asking people to help them choose their nominated charities.    

Andrew Vicos, MD of Scattergoods Agency says, "In order to help those less fortunate than themselves, each year at Christmas, Scattergoods Agency has chosen charities that we donate to as part of our company policy of Corporate Responsibility. This year we wish to change how we place our company charitable donations and that is why we want to ask for your nominations." 

Charities that have been supported in the past include the St Christopher's Children's Hospice in Guildford, Treloars Trust in Alton, the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, The Rainbow Trust in Leatherhead, Save the Children Worldwide, and Cancer Research UK. 

As well as inviting all their staff members, clients and business contacts to nominate charities, Scattergoods would also like to extend this process to anybody who would like to propose a charity that they feel is worthy of support.

Nominations can be made on Scattergoods Agency website at https://www.scattergoods.co.uk.

The charities that are nominated do not have to be operating solely in the United Kingdom, but can have a global impact as well.  Participants are asked to explain why they believe a certain charity is most worthy of support, and whether or not they have had any personal involvement with that particular organization.                                                                             

All entries must be received by December 31, 2015 and the company will announce the chosen charities on January 15, 2016 on the Scattergoods Agency website. 

"Once the chosen charities have been selected we will contact all the successful sponsors," adds Andrew Vicos. "Scattergoods will then personally present the donations to the charities. You can make a difference to a cause that is important to you, ensuring that donations are made to charities whose good work and future projects can continue to make a difference."
