Albuquerque, NM – Albuquerque Tree Experts is proud to announce the launch of its Urban Forestry Research Center, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to advancing the science of tree care and promoting the health and well-being of urban trees. The center will focus on researching best practices in tree care, identifying new opportunities for tree preservation, and advocating for change in urban forestry policies.
"At Albuquerque Tree Experts, we believe that trees are essential to our community and the planet," says Brylee Dianna, CEO of Albuquerque Tree Experts. "The Urban Forestry Research Center is our way of ensuring that our city's trees are cared for properly and given the attention they deserve. We're excited to make a difference in the local environment and our community."
A team of experts in tree biology, horticulture, arboriculture, and urban planning will lead the Urban Forestry Research Center. This team will work together to identify gaps in current knowledge about urban tree care and develop new strategies for preserving and protecting trees in urban environments. The research center will also collaborate with local organizations to create educational programs that promote urban tree health and sustainability.

"We understand the importance of trees in our community," says Dianna. "They provide shade and oxygen, help combat climate change, reduce air pollution, and increase property values. That's why it's so important that we invest in research that can help us better understand how to manage our urban forests. We aim to ensure that future generations have access to healthy, vibrant urban forests."
The Urban Forestry Research Center will focus its efforts on research projects supporting urban forest ecosystems' health and sustainability. Projects may include developing guidelines for safe pruning practices, exploring the impact of land use changes on urban tree populations, or evaluating the effectiveness of existing urban forestry policies. The center will also serve as a hub for sharing resources related to urban tree care and connecting researchers with relevant stakeholders in the community.
"We are committed to doing our part to protect and preserve our urban forests," says Dianna. "This research center will allow us to explore new ways of understanding and managing our trees to ensure their longevity and vitality for years to come."
