Riverside, CA - Last week, Riverside Tree Service provided pro bono tree care services to non-profit organizations located in Riverside County. This is the first time Riverside Tree Service has offered its services free of charge to charitable organizations, and it's part of their more significant commitment to the community.
"It was a great honor to provide our expertise and resources to local non-profits," said Rickie Coover, CEO of Riverside Tree Service. "We took a lot of pride in our work and wanted to give back by doing something we do best: taking care of trees."
Riverside Tree Service provided various services, including pruning, trimming, stump removal, planting, and other arboricultural tasks. In addition, the company worked with non-profits such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity, and various animal rescue groups.
"The response from the organizations was so positive, and they were very thankful for our help and support," said Coover. "We want to continue helping out in any way we can and look forward to serving the Riverside community in the future."

Riverside Tree Service also partnered with local research institutions to investigate how trees can benefit the environment and local communities. One notable project they conducted was with the University of California Riverside's Sustainable Urban Forest Research Group. The group recently completed a study on the impact of urban forests on air quality in Riverside County.
Lead researcher, Dr. David Larkin, stated, "Urban forests are an important part of many cities. Their presence has been linked to improved air quality, reduced stormwater runoff, mitigation of urban heat islands, and increased habitat for wildlife. We hope this research will help inform decisions at all levels of government about how to manage urban forests for maximum benefits."
According to Larkin, the study results are expected to be released later this year. He added, "This collaboration with Riverside Tree Service has been invaluable for our research, and we cannot thank them enough for their generous contribution and ongoing support."
