December 11, 2015 - PRESSADVANTAGE -
DTI Publishing, a business in Park City, UT, is proud to announce that they have launched the new CertBlaster A+ practice test. As a leading provider of adaptive learning technology, the business has been offering personalized IT education and training since it was founded in 2001. Further details about the new practice test are available at http://certblaster.com/.
"Through our sophisticated learning platforms, we have become a leading adaptive learning technology provider," says Pierre Askmo from DTI Publishing. "Our mission is to bring personalized IT education and training to the world. A+ certification is a very important certification to have for those involved in the IT business and our practice test is designed to help people prepare for it."
A+ certification is an entry level PC computer certification for service technicians. Those who pass the exam are able to demonstrate competency to become an entry level technician, meaning they are able to install, maintain, customize and operate all personal computers. The certification has CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) sponsorship. CompTIA was founded in 1982 and is now a large trade group with manufacturers, distributors and resellers in the PC world. They have set a number of voluntary guidelines that focus specifically on professionalism and business ethics. They determine the design of the A+ certification exam and DTI Publishing's practice test is based on their work.
Since 2011, A+ certification is only valid for three years. This means that there has been a huge increase in people having to take or re-take the test. Those who do not want to retake the exam can choose to pay a continuing education units fee, but most choose to take a practice test such as that developed by DTI Publishing, before qualifying again.
"Thanks to DTI Publishing's work, we have been able to hugely improve learning outcomes in our schools," says one happy customer. "We can see how it is beneficial for colleges, corporations and training centers to implement it as well."
The A+ exam contains situational, traditional, and identification types of questions. All of the questions are multiple choice, and there is only one correct answer for each question. The A+ exam is open to anybody, although it is designed to be taken by those with at least six months of job experience as a service technician.
