Washington Eye Doctors Celebrates 75th Anniversary in Eye Care

Washington Eye Doctors started as a one-location practice in the heart of Washington, DC and was eventually owned by Jay Klessman, O.D., who was later joined by Michael P. Rosenblatt, O.D. After Dr. Klessman’s departure, Dr. Rosenblatt has carried on the practice’s mission of helping patients “love what they see,” by providing tailored eye care services and customized eyewear.

Dr. Rosenblatt and his team – including Steven Abraham, O.D., and Brooke Justis, O.D. – continue to push the limits in optometry, adopting the latest technology and implementing techniques and treatments that drive the best results.

To better serve the needs of its patient base, Washington Eye Doctors expanded from its downtown Washington, D.C., office to additional locations in Chevy Chase, MD, and Arlington-Ballston, VA. They hoped that by having offices both downtown and in its suburbs, their eye doctors could make eye care more accessible to everyone in the community.
