Dedicated to providing assistance to the less fortunate residents of Paterson during the approaching holiday season, the food drive is a tribute to an ethos of care and compassion.
The food drive takes its name from Harold Werner, the beloved father of Jason Werner, the CEO of the esteemed pool company, EverClear Pools & Spas. Mr. Werner Senior was a person whose life journey was deeply imprinted with acts of kindness, immense generosity, and unwavering commitment to community service.
In a heartfelt revelation, Jason Werner shares, "My father was an exceptionally kind and generous human being. It is my privilege to have been nurtured under his guidance, both as a role model and more importantly, as a father. The 4th Annual Harold Werner Food Drive is our attempt to honor his legacy and perpetuate his spirit of philanthropy. In the course of the previous three years, the food drive has been successful in raising nearly $40,000, thus bringing about a substantial change in the lives of the less fortunate community members. This year, the dedicated pool contractors at EverClear Pools & Spas are eager to further their achievements with an ambitious goal of raising an additional $10,000.
There are two viable methods for individuals to express their support for this noble endeavor. The first is through monetary contributions via the GoFundMe platform. Jason Werner has pledged to match every dollar contributed, up to a generous sum of $5,000. All the funds procured will be directed towards the purchase of non-perishable food supplies for those in desperate need.
The second way to extend support is by donating non-perishable food items directly. For this purpose, a donation box has been set up at EverClear Pools & Spas' office premises located at 144-146 Rossiter Ave, Paterson. Friendly staff members will be available to accept donations on weekdays from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals to contribute physically and make a direct impact on their community. Every can, every box, helps to feed a family and make a difference.
All collected donations will be forwarded to The Father English Community Center situated in the Paterson region, a fitting partnership for a drive initiated by a company deeply proud of its Paterson heritage.
