MD based Clipper Construction is pleased to announce that they have acquired a building in Baltimore’s Locust Point neighborhood. The company says they intend to develop this building into their Baltimore headquarters.

The building is located at 1642 Beason St. in Locust Point and was previously owned by A-1 Drive Shaft Company for over 20 years. It offers a number of features that will make it an excellent location to conduct all of their Baltimore operations from. The construction company plans to make use of the building’s drive-in warehouse and convert the second floor into office space. Additionally, Clipper Construction is looking to lease the first floor space to a local bakery. The company aims to begin redeveloping the building by the end of the year.

Locust Point is near the center of Baltimore, making it an excellent location for any businesses that need to be able to reach any corner of the city with ease. The new space not only provides access to more opportunities, it also allows for a more efficient workspace. The drive in warehouse, in particular, can be used for any of a number of purposes, including storage and manufacturing. The new location is spacious as well, meaning Clipper Construction will now have the option to have all its operations under one roof. This will increase efficiency, productivity and collaboration, which in turn will provide more opportunities for innovation and growth in the company.

“Bringing all of our operations under one roof is a great move for Clipper Construction,” says Evan Roberts, the managing director at Clipper Construction. “We are confident that this will provide us with the tools and space we need to continue our mission of providing quality construction services to customers in the Baltimore area.”

The new headquarters is located near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor (which is where many of the projects Clipper Construction is involved with are located). Being near the harbor also means easy access to shipping, and this is incredibly important for a construction company like Clipper Construction.

The decision to invest in a new location in Baltimore is a symbol of the company’s commitment to growth and expansion. Both industry leaders and individuals who are up-and-coming in the world of construction see the acquisition as a sign that Clipper Construction is becoming one of the biggest names in Baltimore construction. The new location is set to be ready by 2024, at which point the company will be ready to begin the next step in the journey toward being the top name in Baltimore construction.

“Staying on top of industry advancements and providing our team with the resources to do so is essential for Clipper Construction’s success,” says the company’s Managing Director Jeff Miller. “We plan to make sure all of our employees have access to the tools and training opportunities required to stay on the cutting edge.”
