Knife Sharpener Launched On Brand New Website

SliceXL, a newly formed company in Christchurch, New Zealand, is proud to announce the launch of their brand new website. While it is in the main a method for them to showcase their new product, which is a knife sharpener, it is also an opportunity to share further information about cooking in general. The website, which can be accessed through http://www.slicexl.com, is already attracting a lot of visitors.

Vicky Portman of SliceXL says: "We felt it was time for us to join the 21st century and create our own website. While we are very happy with the Amazon marketplace, which we will continue to use to sell our knife sharpener, we wanted to have the opportunity to share a lot more information with our customers, and to build a closer bond with them. We believe that the new website will achieve this."

At present, the website contains a demonstration video for the knife sharpener, which clearly explains how to safely and correctly use the device. The video also includes some tips on how best to use sharp knives to minimize food waste and to produce better recipes.

Also included on the new website is a fictitious story about kitchen knives having conversations while stored in the drawer. While the story is just a bit of 'tongue in cheek', it does demonstrate clearly that different knives have different roles and that keeping them sharp is very important.

Lloyd Portman of SliceXL added: "Our website is supposed to be both informative and fun, and we believe we are succeeding in that. We will also be adding tasty recipes to our site each week, to give people an opportunity to also do great things with their now sharp knives."

The knife sharpener has been very positively reviewed by people who have purchased it. "I was in desperate need of a knife sharpener," says Heather H.
