Los Angeles, California -

Los Angeles, CA — Eyesthetica, the leading multi-practice provider of oculofacial surgery services in southern California, has announced the addition of Jordan Conger, M.D., to their renowned surgical team. A highly trained oculofacial plastic surgeon, Dr. Conger’s arrival reinforces the practice’s commitment to delivering exceptional quality, comprehensive and compassionate care to patients across Los Angeles.

San Diego native Dr. Conger completed a neuroscience bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University, graduating with highest honors. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and returned to Southern California for his ophthalmology surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he was peer-selected to serve as chief resident.

Dr. Jordan Conger joins Eyesthetica

Dr. Conger went on to complete a prestigious two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at Eyesthetica and the University of Southern California, one of the few esteemed fellowships approved by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). While training, Dr. Conger performed thousands of reconstructive surgeries for patients with trauma, eyelid and orbital cancers and congenital and acquired diseases. He also learned innovative techniques like corneal neurotization, a form of nerve transfer to the corneas to improve sensation and visual functioning.

He now specializes in functional and aesthetic eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgeries. Rounding out Dr. Conger’s oculofacial expertise is his extensive experience in advanced facial aesthetic work, including procedures like blepharoplasty, fat grafting, injectables, and more. His commitment to improving the field and advancing oculofacial surgery shows in published research across a range of academic journals, including the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal, and in his research presentations at local and national meetings.

“Whenever we are bringing on a new doctor, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow and develop their skills in an environment that’s amenable to technological advancement,” said Michael Burnstine, M.D., oculofacial plastic surgeon at Eyesthetica and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at USC. “I know our patients will love working with Dr. Conger, because his skills and compassion speak for themselves.”

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Conger joining us at Eyesthetica,” added David Samimi, M.D., oculofacial plastic surgeon at the practice and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at USC. “He’s incredibly talented, and based on our work together, I know our patients will love having someone as caring and mindful as him on their side. We always look to bring passionate people who are at the forefront of the industry, people who don’t shy away from cutting-edge techniques or difficult procedures, and Dr. Conger fits the bill.”

“I can’t understate how impressed I am with Dr. Conger’s passion, enthusiasm, and background,” said Christopher Lo, M.D., oculofacial plastic surgeon at Eyesthetica. “His history with our fellowship has already shown what a great fit he’ll be at our practice, and I am thrilled that the next generation of oculofacial plastic surgeons will have someone like him to guide the field forward.”

“I’m so honored to be joining the Eyesthetica team,” said Dr. Conger. “I had a wonderful time working with all the surgeons during my fellowship. It’s very exciting to become part of such a caring and capable group, and I can’t wait to begin meeting patients. I have many interests as a surgeon, and everyone at Eyesthetica has been so supportive of my research. I want to improve the safety and efficacy of anesthesia techniques when it comes to office-based surgery, and I know that as a practice we emphasize the best outcomes throughout the surgical process. I don’t want patients to have anything to fear when we provide life-changing results.”

Eyesthetica's locations throughout Southern California are currently open and accepting appointments for both new and existing patients.
