The MJF Foundation was founded by Merril J. Fernando in the 50s, and at the heart of the organization was the desire to make helping humanity its business. Today, the organization continues its mission and has benefited more than 100,000 Sri Lankans.
During the beginnings of his company, Fernando pursued a business that would benefit the people who had been impacted by the nation’s failing tea industry. More than a charity, MJF Charitable Foundation has developed a sustainable business model that is fair, genuine, and productive.
