As 2015 is quickly coming to a close, it’s a good time for GED® test takers to plan their education and prepare for GED® exam in 2016.
The GED exam has historically served adults who have fallen through the cracks of the educational system and it got a serious overhaul in 2014. The most recent version said hello to the 21st century by making the test completely computer-based and many students perceive the exam as more challenging.
New website GED Easy (http://www.gedeasy.com) aims to make learning for the test not only easy but also free. Prospective students can access the online prep materials any time, without any payment.
GED Easy offers a comprehensive, engaging, and totally updated online prep that features in-depth topics for Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. The website also includes practice tests, video lessons and also information about traditional lessons. These learning materials are fully helpful for students who prepare for other high school equivalency exams such as the HiSET® Exam and TASC™ Exam.
HiSET produced by the nonprofit ETS and the University of Iowa. The HiSET is now available in 12 states. TASC is a test offered by McGraw-Hill and it has been approved now in nine states. Thirty-four states still offer only the GED. TASC and HiSET are offered in lower costs and still accept paper-and-pencil as a opposite to GED that can be taken on the computer.
