The Longacre Company Donates Expertise and Labor to Help Local Non-Profit Better Serve The Community

Being a community-minded business that has been delivering the finest service and materials since 1922, the company took it upon itself to conduct an initiative which involved the provision of free electrical service and labor to The Open Link.

The Open Link is a non-profit organization in Pennsburg, PA that delivers community programs which provide services, education, and food to area residents in need. Having received the donation of a free walk-in freezer for the non-profit’s pantry from a community businessman, The Open Link still required installation of the unit in order to make use of it to help local residents. The Longacre Company stepped up by volunteering to do the installation free of charge. The company accomplished this by donating electrical expertise, technical skills, and labor toward the installation of the freezer in The Open Link.
