Smile Savers Dentistry's Dr. Daniel Stewart donated $10 per cleaning to Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation in November and December of 2015
Dr. Daniel Stewart raised $2380 for the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation by donating $10 for every cleaning appointment at Smile Savers Dentistry in Columbia, MD in November and December. This is the second year that Dr. Stewart has raised money for the foundation with money donated from dental cleanings. Smile Savers Dentistry also raised $1050 for the organization through a 50/50 raffle through December 31st. G. Saliger of Crofton, MD was the lucky winner of the raffle. An additional $2800 was also donated, bringing the total to $6230.
Dr. Stewart and the Smile Savers Dentistry staff want to thank all the patients, doctors and friends who made a point to come in for their cleanings during the donation period and also purchased raffle tickets. Dr. Stewart said, "I'm so appreciative that our patients have helped us raise money for this great organization over the past couple of years. Thank you!"
For those who are not aware of Believe In Tomorrow, the organization provides exceptional respite housing services to critically ill children and their families. Since 1986, Believe In Tomorrow has provided over 600,000 individual overnight accommodations from every state in the U.S. and more than 76 countries worldwide. Their unique hospital housing, helps families stay together in the midst of a child's medical crisis.
The Believe in Tomorrow' Children's Foundation is an organization that is near and dear to the hearts of Dr. Stewart, his family and the staff at Smile Savers Dentistry. The staff participates yearly in Believe in Tomorrow's Annual Port to Fort 6K in Baltimore each spring. Dr. Stewart, his family and staff members also visit the Children's House in Baltimore to fix breakfast or dinner for the families staying at the house.
