Food and Wine blogger Maggie Unzueta, who hails from the island of Coronado, CA, has been selected to be a Legoland Ambassador. Maggie's blog features food, wine and travel adventures from all over the San Diego area and more. In response, she has declared that she is proud to have been chosen for this prestigious status. "Legoland Ambassadors are bloggers who write about fun days out," says Maggie herself. "They regularly look for truly awesome bloggers and have created a whole panel for 2016. I decided to enter in the panel, but didn't honestly believe I would make the cut. I couldn't believe it when I got the news. It will be such a fantastic opportunity for me to continue to do what I love and to really put San Diego on the map as well. I can't wait to get started."
Legoland Ambassadors will be the first to hear about various exciting Legoland news. Additionally, they receive invitations to attend exclusive previews and events at the various Legoland resorts. Additionally, they can take part in a variety of fun contests throughout the year.
In order to get a chance to be part of the panel, Maggie had to explain why she believed Legoland would be such an amazing family day out. This had to be explained in a properly published blog post. Her entry as well as thousands of others were reviewed by a team of Legoland judges, who contacted Maggie to say she had been successfully chosen.
One of the reasons why Maggie stood out for the judges was because of her impressive Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MamaMaggiesKitchen/. This page has received almost 7,000 likes, which means that Maggie's voice is heard by a large number of people. She regularly comments on activities that happen in the San Diego area, thereby promoting the local economy as well. This is something that the Legoland judges were looking for in particular.
"We love the way Maggie interacts with her readers," says one of the judges. "She has the exact spark that we were looking for and we can't wait to read more of her musings."
