Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBEC)-West to Collaborate with Retail Giant Macy's for a Business Matchmaking Event that Promises to Unveil Contracting Opportunities for Arizona's MWBEs

WBEC-West is honored to collaborate with Macy's Supplier Diversity Team for a business matchmaking event that will unveil upcoming contracting opportunities for women and minority-owned businesses that operate in the Arizona and Southwest USA area.

Macy’s Inc. is a national member of NMSDC and WBENC, and endeavors to support MWBEs through the goods and services they purchase to operate their business, as well as the merchandise they buy for re-sale in Macy's stores. In light of this Macy's will collaborate with WBEC-West for a strategic business matchmaking event catered to MWBEs in the Phoenix, AZ area scheduled sometime in late March of 2016.

Procurement managers and representatives of several of Macy's and Bloomingdale's business units will be present at the business matchmaking event to meet with WBE vendors.
