Townstone Financial, Chicago’s leading mortgage banker, has announced that it is matching all donations up to $5,000.00 in conjunction with WGN’s Lou Manfredini, also known as “Mr. Fix-It”, in his Candy Jar. All donations for the cause are going to Misericordia to help those with physical and developmental disabilities.
Misericordia (a cherished non profit organization) provides help and assistance to over 600 children and adults facing mild to profound developmental disabilities live their lives with love, purpose and dignity. Many of those under Misericoridia's care also suffer from physical challenges.
Townstone Financial's owner and founder, Barry Sturner said, “People with developmental disabilities are dependent on us and need our help and we want to help them raise awareness of the works of such a wonderful organization that has proudly been helping those with disabilities since 1921.”
Sturner continued stating that his company will graciously match all donations of up to $5,000.00 to help jump start Misericordia's Candy Day Fundraiser which is April 29 & 30th 2016.
