ZombieDisasterKits Partners with another Sustainable Giving Organization, Tisha’s Choices

Asked many times what “Sustainable Giving” means to these organizations, Founder of Tisha’s Choices, Tisha Vollum, spokesperson for both merging companies explains: “Sustainable Giving isn’t a new idea and we’ve modeled these 2 businesses by following in the footsteps of Newman’s Own Brand products.

There are so many worthy organization in the world that truly deserve support and yet it’s impossible to give to everyone of them. It’s much easier if you have a plan of action, a method to give in a timely way to those charitable organizations that you have a deep interest in and want to support. Sustainable Giving isn’t a new idea and we’ve modeled these 2 businesses by following in the footsteps of Newman’s Own Brand products and their charter to “Use the power of giving to transform lives.”

Founders of both companies have been successful entrepreneurs and had long and successful careers. They’ve decide that philanthropy is their new mission and they’ve taken the hi-road to set up organizations that can be applied to and offer funding when it fits with their core values and when money is available.

Tisha Vollum expressed a good fit for the merger, “Because both of our companies are not-for-profit entities and we both sell products via the internet, we felt it wise to combine our resources to help each other make more money available to deserving organizations. We use the proceeds from the sales of products to continue to purchase more or additional product to sell and also sustain the structure of the business so we can have an online presence. We give the rest of the income to charitable organizations that we love. No one at either ZombieDisasterKits or Tisha’s Choices recieves a salary. All our time is donated so that more is available for giving.”

ZombieDisasterKits.com has been established online for about a year and a half and has a growing product line to meet the needs of that portion of the community that want to “Live a Better Life” by focusing on self and family for personal and family needs.

Tisha’s Choices was originally launched in the UK about a year ago and has since moved to the US as well and is offering products that fall directly in line with the core values of ZDK and yet has a variety of products appealing to a different demographic of the market place.
