March 24, 2017 - PRESSADVANTAGE -
First Endurance, a business in Salt Lake City, UT, is proud to announce that their runner, Calum Neff, has won the Cowtown 50K Ultra. Full details about the achievement can be found on http://firstendurance.com/sports/running/calum-neff/. Neff is a current Guinness World Record holder for fastest half and full marathon pushing a stroller, and this latest win is the latest in his long list of achievements.
Mike Fogarty from First Endurance says: "We're so happy to have Calum on our team. He has won some serious awards in the past, including the Canadian Death Race, the North American Wings for Life World Run, the Creemore Vertical Challenge, and the Brazos Bend, so we knew he would perform well in the Cowtown race. And now that he's won it, we say well done Calum."
Calum, meanwhile, says: "I was introduced to First Endurance from an old college teammate as we were both getting into trail running and interested (and scared) of trying an ultra marathon. I knew I needed a great nutrition plan that was also simple to carry. EFS fit everything I was looking for in refilling my electrolytes and refueling my calories while being easy to pack through the mountains."
Calum noticed a huge improvement within just the first year. In fact, it was thanks to First Endurance's nutrition plan that he was able to win the Canadian Death Race. This race is 125 km long and goes through the Canadian Rockies. It also includes a total of 17,000 foot of climbing and ascending. Fogarty adds: "It's not called the Canadian Death Race for nothing. This is a race only the really brave even attempt. It took Calum 14 hours to complete it and he credits this to our nutrition plan."
Calum adds: "I continued to use EFS, and introduced Ultragen protein and the Optygen supplement into all my races, including down to the one-mile event and the result was that I continue to have great success."
The First Endurance Running Team is incredibly proud to have Calum Neff as a member. They look forward to supporting him through many more extreme races and to continue to devise a nutrition plan that is suitable to his needs.
