St. Charles, Missouri based QTE Manufacturing Solutions is reaching out to the community to announce that, due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in the US, their Mastercam training program will be adopting a virtual classroom format. The company asserts that it will take every measure to maintain their high standards as they implement this new program.
QTE Manufacturing Solutions has been a leading provider for CAD/CAM Training and specifically Mastercam training for over 30 years, maintaining a distinguished reputation for being a reliable and successful industrial training provider. In the interest of safeguarding the quality of their classroom training as much as possible while still guaranteeing the safety of attendees, the company has decided to move these classes to a virtual environment.
Jason Quinn, a representative of QTE Manufacturing Solutions, says, "We have been weighing our options for a while. Rather than canceling our training courses, we decided to continue offering them in a different format for the time being. These new live virtual training classes will be led by the same industry experts who teach our in-person program; thus our students can rest assured that the quality of their training will not be compromised. This will allow our customers to continue to improve their Mastercam skills without having to go to a physical location during the current health crisis."
Quinn states that the company is fully prepared to assist program attendees throughout the course, offering guidance, advice, and help in any topic directly related to the classes as well as the platform they will be using. This ensures that all attendees will have a positive experience within the virtual classroom and be able to make the most of their training regardless of whether they are already familiar with virtual training courses or not.
The enrollment process for the company's Mastercam virtual training has not changed, requiring students to visit the company's online listings and choose from one of the available classes with available spots. The company notes that members of their MAIT program (Mastercam All-Inclusive Training) can still benefit from this format. Once registration has been completed successfully, the applicant will receive an email with further details regarding the class, including access to the training files and instructions for joining a test session with the instructor as well as the main Virtual Training session.
"We know that not everyone is familiar with this format or the platform that we'll use for our virtual training classes, so we have tried to make the process as straightforward as possible," says Quinn. He adds that every stage, from the platform in which the classes will be held to the topics covered, is prepared well in advance to the classes to guarantee a top-notch experience. "All of our classes will feature live video of the instructor, the instructor's Mastercam session, live chat and live audio between the instructor and students. It is all designed to make it feel like a regular classroom where you can interact with others and receive real-time feedback for any questions you may have."
The company states that there are only a few preparations that students need to make before each class. The most important requirement is a computer capable of running the Mastercam program. Given that this program is highly-demanding on the computer's graphics card, the company advises attendees to test out their ability to run the program without issues before the classes. They also state that it should not make a difference whether students use the industrial or HLE (Home Learning Edition) of Mastercam as both possess the same essential functionality for the purposes of the training course.
The company also advises that attendees utilize a second monitor to allow for watching instructor presentations on one screen while using Mastercam on the other. This second screen will also enable them to view the PDF of the book on one screen. Besides this, anyone with reliable internet access and either a speaker or a phone that they can use to communicate should be able to make the most out of their classes.
QTE Manufacturing Solutions invites Mastercam Users to sign up for upcoming events at their earliest convenience. Various levels of their Mastercam virtual training classes will be held from April 15th through May 15. The company's website includes more details on QTE Manufacturing Solutions and their training programs as well, and interested parties may reach out to Chris Davidson to follow up on any inquiries.
