Local bloggers are posting about a Frisco resident who participated in the Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship.
"If you are somewhat familiar with the Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship, then you must know by now have noticed that there is a representative from our very own Frisco," states Shireen Irani, a representative of the mBrace Frisco Orthodontics clinic. She continues, "We want to extend our best wishes and regards from all the staff at the office to our Frisco representative and hope that they have a fine performance."
Kess Eshun is the name of the Frisco resident competing in the Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship. She is a pastry chef, bakery owner and mother of three boys. She has commented that her motivation to win the competition is to, "Prove to her kids that you should always chase your dreams," a statement that has brought the community together in a wave of support, accentuated by the fact that this is the first time that a Frisco native participates in a competition of the scale.
Irani says, "Everyone in Frisco is rooting for Eshun to win the entire competition. We would love nothing more than to see her walk home with the $25,000 price, though we will be happy as long as she brings her best effort to every challenge. We are already proud that she made it this far."
Eshun has had a stellar performance so far on the first two episodes of the show, which consisted of four different challenges. She won one of these challenges and came in second in another one, positioning herself as one of the strongest competitors for the big prize right from the beginning. She is already a fan favorite, as Eshun has gotten some positive comments from viewers who now root for her success.
A supporter of the local Frisco baker says, “The top two bakers, Kess and Megan, succeeded in both flavor and decoration. Kess made an apple cinnamon quick bread that made all the judges swoon. It had amazing texture and the apple and cinnamon were well balanced.”
The quality of Eshun's performance is evident in the thoroughness of her preparation, as even though the future of the show was uncertain due to the COVID-19 situation, this did not seem to affect her will to practice. A new post published by the blog of a local business, mBrace Frisco Orthodontics, quotes a Distractify article that touches upon the topic of the accommodations made in order to adapt the show to the COVID-19 safety guidelines. It says, "In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the Food Network’s shows have had to retool the format of their shows and adopt stricter safety measures in order to keep its contestants and crew members safe.”
The mBrace Frisco Orthodontics tends to get closely involved with the matters of the community, often helping and supporting local residents in different areas, even if not directly related to dental care. As for the practice itself, they focus on providing orthodontics services, such as braces and Invisalign. They take great pride in using state-of-the-art technology for most of their procedures, including 3D scans simulations that allow them to be more efficient on a digital platform than what would otherwise be possible. These produce a better assessment of their client's condition, which in turn allow them to build clearer treatment plans that produce better results.
They offer various types of orthodontic appliances, which include traditional braces, lingual braces, clear aligners and colored elastics. Traditional braces are the most popular type of braces, and they can be made of metal, ceramic or plastic. Ceramic brackets are the least noticeable because they are either clear or tooth-colored.
The company's website offers more details on mBrace Frisco Orthodontics and their services. Interested parties may reach out to Shireen Irani to follow up on any inquiries. Additionally, they may also read other announcements from the local dental care center on their official blog.
