Caperton Fertility Institute, a fertility clinic based in Albuquerque, NM, and El Paso, TX, recognizes the importance of acknowledging National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Month. October is an important time of remembrance for those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss, and the movement provides those who have suffered a loss with a coordinated time to reflect and participate in advocacy events throughout the U.S., such as Walks to Remember and more.

“National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Month is a time for us to support those who have lost a child and reflect on the many different journeys we each go through on the path to parenthood,” says Annemarie Henton with Caperton Fertility Institute. “We are here every step of the way to help our patients as they go through hard moments, celebratory moments, and everything in between. It’s our honor to provide compassionate care combined with state-of-the-art medical technology to help thousands of people become parents.”

Caperton Fertility Institute

Founded in 2016 by fertility specialists Dr. Lee Caperton and Dr. Kelly Caperton, Caperton Fertility Institute is focused on using cutting-edge technology to enhance patient pregnancy and live birth outcomes. CFI is the leading fertility practice in Albuquerque and El Paso. With support from the most experienced laboratory staff, CFI’s reputation for personalized care and pregnancy success rates has been attracting patients from throughout the U.S. and even the world.

Caperton Fertility Institute offers a number of treatment options to help men and women understand what may be preventing pregnancy. CFI’s team has specialized training and expertise in all aspects of fertility care, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF), artificial insemination, fertility surgery and other procedures. The first step for patients is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Lee Caperton or Dr. Kelly Caperton. That initial consultation includes an in-depth conversation to review patients’ medical, reproductive and treatment history. The team will then make recommendations for a treatment plan to give patients the best chance for success.

Sometimes fertility treatment requires addressing a physiological issue before proceeding with other forms of treatment. CFI offers a full range of reproductive surgery treatment options to address issues such as blocked or tied fallopian tubes, endometriosis and pelvic adhesions, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, repair of uterine scarring, and more. Most procedures can be done as outpatient surgery on-site at CFI’s state-of-the-art.

Male factor infertility accounts for nearly 30 percent of infertility cases. CFI’s specialists can assist men with vasectomy reversals, testicular sperm extraction (TESE), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), or microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA). CFI helps men understand all options, including whether a couple might want to consider moving forward with donor sperm.

And, of course, CFI specializes in in-vitro fertilization (IVF), which is a procedure where a woman’s eggs are removed from her ovaries and then fertilized in a lab using her partner’s sperm. The fertilized egg is then cultured to the embryo stage and then placed in her uterus to implant and develop. This is suitable for women with absent, blocked, or non-functional fallopian tubes.

CFI is also experienced at matching patients and coordinating donor eggs, donor sperm and gestational surrogacy to provide people with additional options for conceiving a child.

Schedule a consultation today. From the moment you walk into Caperton Fertility Institute, you’ll notice just how different the practice is. From the warmth of how you’re welcomed to the soothing spa-like environment to the caring, comforting, personal connections staff makes with patients, CFI is here to help. Moreover, the open and inclusive environment welcomes all patients seeking to expand their families.
