The CA based Contractors State License Center (CSLC) is making Zoom classes available for contractors looking to take the contractors’ license exam in Los Angeles. Not everyone is able to attend in person classes, and the Contractors State License Center has set out to remove this as an obstacle to earning a license. While the Center has had online facilities for many years, it is now easier for aspiring contractors to work toward achieving their goals on a platform they may be more familiar with. The online contractors license school in Los Angeles has highly knowledgeable teachers with the insight and expertise necessary to help people pass the exam.

“We realize that many are unfortunately unable to come to class to study for the California contractor license exam, so we have also designed a more accessible contractors home study program,” the Contractors State License Center says. “Our books, practice exams and study guides will help you adequately prepare for the test. However, we do recommend that you enroll in classes to take advantage of the classroom environment and increase your chances of passing the test the first time you take your contractors license exam. For more information about our classroom courses, home study materials, and practice exams, contact us at the Contractors State License Center today! CSLC now offers online contractors license programs to help you pass your California contractor license exam the first time. Our proven program guarantees you will pass the first time. We are the premier contractors school in San Fernando Valley!”

Upon completing their education, contractors need to pass a test that is administered by the Contractors State License Board in order to get more lucrative jobs. The test is very difficult, and a majority of contractors tend to fail the test if they attempt to study for it alone. It is necessary to take classes to pass, and CSLC’s program has proven highly effective in helping Los Angeles contractors pass the test over the past 25 years.

Anyone that does building work for a fee higher than $500 dollars is required by law to be a licensed contractor. This means that anyone looking to make a career out of contract work is required to be fully licensed. This generally includes businesses or individuals who construct or alter buildings, highways, roads, parking facilities, railroads and other similar ventures that are likely to have high fees attached. Licenses may be issued to individuals, partners, corporations and ventures.

CSLC’s research shows that contractors tend to pass the exam when studying in a classroom, and this is why they developed their effective and comprehensive classes for Los Angeles contractors. The curriculum includes six different courses covering Law and Trade, which are very flexible, so a student need only attend a two hour lesson once a week. After six weeks, they will be able to take practice exams before finally taking the official exam.

The exam consists of two separate tests, the standard Law and Business exam and a second test covering the specific trade or certification area for which they are applying. The tests are multiple choice and consist of 80 - 125 questions on average. Candidates are required to score at least 73% on the test to pass.

Attending classes, whether in person or over Zoom, all but guarantees that the candidate will pass. The Contractors State License Centre says, “Since our contractors license school course is focused entirely on the exam and the information and techniques needed to help you pass, you will do so the first time or get your money back. Our materials are organized in an easy-to-understand format that simplifies the material and the study process. Test questions can and do change frequently, so CSLC has full time contractor on staff who is continually researching the test requirements. Through our classes and our interactive practice tests, you will learn exactly what you need to know to get your license after completing contractor school in Los Angeles. That’s why our success rate is so high and our course is so highly recommended.”
