Pasadena, CA – Pasadena Tree Services, an arborist company specializing in tree care and services, is excited to announce the launch of its tree climbing and pruning workshops. The workshops are designed to teach participants the basics of tree climbing and proper pruning techniques.
The four-hour workshops will be held over two Saturdays in April at the Pasadena Tree Services headquarters. During the workshop, participants will learn from experienced professionals in a safe environment with hands-on activities and instruction. In addition, participants will receive a comprehensive set of educational materials and access to the Pasadena Tree Services team's decades of experience in all aspects of tree care.
"At Pasadena Tree Services, we believe that trees are living beings that deserve our respect," said Bernett Rojas, CEO of Pasadena Tree Services. "We are passionate about helping people understand how to care for and appreciate these majestic creatures. Our workshops provide a great opportunity for people to get involved and learn more about trees."

The workshop will begin with a presentation on the fundamentals of tree climbing, covering topics such as safety precautions, equipment selection, knot tying, and ascending/descending techniques. Afterward, participants can practice their newly acquired skills in a supervised environment. The second half of the workshop will focus on proper pruning techniques and best practices, including branch removal, crown raising and thinning, deadwood removal, and cabling and bracing.
Each participant will also receive a certificate upon workshop completion, which certifies them as an official tree-climbing apprentice. In addition, Pasadena Tree Services will provide a same-day response on services booked within six months of the completion of the workshop.
"Our goal is to help spread knowledge and appreciation of trees throughout our community and beyond," said Rojas. "These workshops are just one way we're doing our part to ensure this beautiful planet stays healthy."
