STEVENS Engineers & Constructors, a company based in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, wants to point out that their knowledge and expertise make them stand out as a steel erection company in the Great Lakes Region. With their commitment to service, high-quality finished products, and industry experience, they are ready to design and execute a steel erection project. STEVENS' commitment is to their clients, ensuring that their jobs are completed on schedule and in a safe manner.

We have decades of experience working in the construction sector and are a leading steel erector capable of handling your steel building project. Our structural steel erectors are highly skilled in large metal building projects. STEVENS is fully equipped, and the company’s team members are highly knowledgeable and experienced in the construction and erection of a steel building project. Some of the most recent projects they completed include the Hammond Sportsplex in Indiana, a waste-acid neutralizing facility at Vandergrift in Pennsylvania, and an integrated cycle facility in Pennsylvania. These projects demonstrate their capability to solve various kinds of challenges through innovation and efficiency.

For the Hammond Sportsplex and Community Center, STEVENS erected structural steel, decking, and joists for a 135,000 sqft complex comprising 12 volleyball courts, two regulation-size indoor soccer fields, six basketball courts, and six batting cages. It also features an upper-level track for walking and running and also for watching sporting events. This project began in September 2017 and was finished in January 2018.

In the ATI Vandergrift project, STEVENS provided all of the steel erection, civil, and equipment setting for the construction that ATI will use as a waste acid-neutralizing facility. Some of the work that the project involved included: waste acid neutralization; concrete work for lime silo foundations, clarifier foundations, and WWT building foundations; tank pads; and steel work for WT mezzanine-lime, WT building, rubber lined clarifier, miscellaneous platforms, and erection of silo.

For Allegheny Energy, STEVENS was a subcontractor to Black & Veatch for the erection of five separate buildings or a combined cycle facility in Springdale, PA. The buildings erected were the control building, combustion turbine building, generation building, pump building, and water treatment building. The project also included extensive excavation and installation of the foundation.

Launched in 1970, STEVENS Engineers & Constructors has over 75 years of experience in providing top-quality construction services. The company started as Stevens Painton Corporation in February 1970 after Stevens Construction, which was founded in 1919, merged with Eddie Painton and Associates, which was established in 1915. STEVENS Painton served as a highway bridge builder and an excavation contractor, offering their services primarily for wastewater treatment plants, but they gradually shifted their focus towards heavy industrial construction. They acquired CDMG in 1991 and included industrial engineering as part of their services. In 2009, the company became STEVENS Engineers & Constructors, Inc., which provided demolition, heavy rigging, earthwork, civil concrete, and excavation. They also offer structural steel erection, mechanical equipment setting and alignment, construction management and plant maintenance, and shutdown and turnaround services.

STEVENS is based in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, with offices just south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in Southpointe, and in the Northwest Indiana region. They work primarily in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
