St. Saviours, United Kingdom - According to a report on KTVN News in Reno, Nevada, there has been a surge in gym membership purchases during the New Year. According to the article, “for many people the start of the New Year is a time to start fresh and make a positive change to their daily lives”.
The report goes on to state, that getting into shape is a very common New Year’s resolution. The report also interviewed a general manager at a local gym Planet Fitness, and the manager said “In addition to our regular membership, probably about 30% to 40% more people, yeah its big numbers this year”.
The general manager went on to say it is the most new membership sign ups he’s seen in three years.
With the increase in gym memberships, it is probable that this will also lead to an increase in gym related necessities. In particular necessities that would go in someone’s gym bag.
