Washington, DC - November 11, 2024: The Disabled Veterans Empowerment Network (DVEN)/Rally4Vets will host the 2025 Military Inaugural Ball on January 20 at the Fairmont Hotel in Georgetown. This prestigious black-tie event celebrates the service of America’s veterans while uniting civilians, military supporters, and community leaders in support of veteran mental health. Featuring elegant traditions, gourmet dining, and a theme of “We Drive. They Survive.” inspired by DVEN’s motorsports initiative Rally4Vets, the evening underscores the importance of unity, resilience, and community in empowering veterans. Proceeds will benefit DVEN’s mental health programs and Rally4Vets efforts to build support networks and raise awareness for veteran well-being.

A Night of Distinction and Purpose

The Military Inaugural Ball offers a one-of-a-kind evening of elegance, reflection, and unity. Guests will step into an atmosphere inspired by timeless tradition, adorned with accents of gold and cream, sophisticated navy, and red to honor the spirit of service. From a red-carpet entrance to exclusive VIP experiences, including a pre-gala reception in the Colonnade Room, attendees are invited to enjoy the charm and grandeur of the Fairmont Hotel while connecting with others who share a commitment to supporting veterans.

DVEN’s theme, “We Drive. They Survive.”, is brought to life in both spirit and purpose throughout the event. Drawing on DVEN’s motorsports program, Rally4Vets, this theme encapsulates the powerful sense of camaraderie, resilience, and community that underpins every DVEN initiative. By engaging veterans in motorsports and related events, Rally4Vets fosters community support, combats isolation, and empowers veterans in their journey toward better mental health.

Supporting Veterans’ Mental Health: A Shared Mission

One of the core missions of the Military Inaugural Ball is to spotlight the importance of mental health awareness within the veteran community. Veterans face unique mental health challenges, and through DVEN’s programs and community outreach, they are empowered with resources, connections, and opportunities to support mental well-being. Each year, DVEN raises funds to expand its outreach, ensuring veterans have access to vital mental health resources and programs.

“Veterans should never have to face their battles alone,” said Robert Hess, President of DVEN and Rally4Vets. “At the Military Inaugural Ball, we come together not only to celebrate our veterans’ service but to pledge our support for their mental health and well-being. ‘We Drive. They Survive.’ reflects the drive to support veterans and ensure no one feels left behind.”

A Celebration of Unity, Glamour, and Military Tradition

The evening will feature a series of formal presentations, including the Presentation of Colors, the National Anthem, and a multi-faith invocation to honor the diversity of the military community. Guests are encouraged to wear black-tie attire, with active and retired military members invited to don formal military dress to highlight their dedication and service.

In addition to the evening’s formal program, the Military Inaugural Ball will feature:

• A gourmet dining experience, reminiscent of high-profile events, inspired by acclaimed culinary standards and designed to foster connection and enjoyment.

• A red-carpet welcome for VIP guests, offering photo opportunities and a memorable entrance to the Fairmont Hotel’s luxurious ballroom.

• Live music and sophisticated ambiance that celebrates the spirit of unity and resilience in a setting of elegance and respect.

• Transportation for guests staying in Arlington and Alexandria partner hotels, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience.
