Meredith Gardner, founder of The Strategic Edge, is proud to announce that just like the previous awards, she has been invited to be a member of the Grand Jury for the 2018 New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards. She has been invited in recognition of the important role her company has been playing in the industry. The organization evaluates its categories each year to ensure that these are reflective of current demands, and the 2018 awards will celebrate the next generation of story-tellers, as well as the innovative programs that they have created.
"I am honored to have been invited to sit on the jury," says Meredith Gardner Ph.D., "and I accept the invitation."
The event itself will be showcased at a gala on Tuesday, April 20, 2018 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, NV. It will focus on a number of new categories, including Digital Short-Form Documentary, Digital Short-Form Reality TV Drama, International Affairs Documentary, Magazine Feature, Use of Technology in Promos, and Tourism Corporate Image. These will complement the existing categories that have been left unchanged. It is not yet clear which categories Dr. Gardner will choose, although some believe that her websites, including www.strategic-cio-solutions.com, give clear indications of where her interests lie.
All judging will be completed online through a secure platform. This platform enables judges like Meredith Gardner to select the categories she feels are suitable to her particular background. Submissions can be screened for several weeks, so that judges can make their decision based on sound information without feeling under pressure.

Meredith Gardner, Ph.D. is an animated international speaker, executive coach, trainer, facilitator, and author. She has had her own radio program as well as being a guest on local and national radio/TV. Meredith also attended programs at the NASA Corporate Space Academy (Huntsville, Alabama), where she was Director of the Space Lab on a simulated flight.
