Today Philip Jepsen, CEO of ManageByStats, announced a new error checking feature in their automated email notification tool, SellerMail. SellerMail is a tool within ManageByStats that allows users to configure email notifications for their customers that are sent based on specified triggers, such as when a purchase is made, when a product is delivered and so on. The message creation process involves using variables which insert relevant information in the message at time of send, like the buyer’s name, product info and other things that customize the email. Users can choose these variables when creating the message, but until the new error checking feature it was up to them to proofread for potentially incorrect instances.
“This is a great new feature,” says Mr. Jepsen. “Of course there’s always been spell checking and the usual sorts of tools to catch errors, but until now we didn’t have a function to go through the message and intelligently screen for incorrectly used variables. Now we do.”
ManageByStats is a suite of multiple Seller tools designed for those who sell on Amazon. It allows users to easily monitor things like customers, inventory and sales. SellerMail provides a solution for automated response emails to customers as they make purchases, receive products, leave feedback and request refunds. Messages are created and then set with specific triggers to respond based on certain events. With the new error checking feature users will be notified if the message body they’ve created contains any incorrect variables.

The new error checking runs automatically and will alert users at time of Save if there are any issues that need to be fixed. If no errors then no notice will be given.
