October 02, 2017 - PRESSADVANTAGE -

The National Veterans Opportunity Coalition (TNVOC) announces its congratulations to the new President of the Arizona/San Diego Chapter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Ms. Rainey Alben began her tenure at the helm of the Council September 11, 2017.

TNVOC Vice President Ben Fatola stated, "TNVOC has previously enjoyed a great relationship with Ms. Alben as Diversity Director for ISM, prior to her taking on her current role. Ms. Alben played a vital role in providing valuable feedback to TNVOC as we developed our processes and programs over a three (3) year period. We wanted to ensure that we were on track in being able to provide “real-time” assistance to supply chain professionals, buyers and procurement specialist across the country.

Ron Williams, Service-Disabled Veteran – U.S. Air Force, and President of TNVOC, shared, “We want to officially congratulate Ms. Alben and wish her well during her tenure. We look forward to working with Ms. Alben and have offered our support to her as she gets up to speed in servicing the Arizona, San Diego County region. Just like Ms. Rainey, any leader who operates business service organizations in our service area, nationally, we offer our support, because ultimately our goal is for the business community to win. We have a full array of services, which includes event management, and other matchmaking services. We continue to educate our clients that our online portal is more than just a database of Veteran Owned Businesses. It’s different from any other portal. Our systems empower VBEs with the latest technology, to not only discover corporate and government procurement opportunities as soon as they are released, but also has an interactive environment within the portal to communicate with agencies as well as other VBEs. Veteran business owners can search for local and national business procurement opportunities available specifically for Veterans. Instant daily or weekly email notifications are also sent as soon as a Corporate and/or Government RFP are released!”
