Starting January 1, 2018, the Express office will begin utilizing a new Skilled Trades division. Shaffer will supervise the training for careers in the commercial industry such as Drivers, Flaggers and Machine Operators.

Kerri Shaffer started working at Express as a Front office Coordinator in July 2008. In three years, Kerri was promoted to the LID Staffing Consultant and previously as the LID Team Leader in January 2017. Starting January 2018, Kerri was promoted again in her new role as Contract and Search Specialist for the Skilled Trades Division.
“We are excited to be able to focus and help our companies find highly skilled workers,” Schwenger said.
In her 10 years with Express, Shaffer has managed to lead the commercial division to success every year when searching for Tacoma employment. This new transition from the commercial industry to skilled trades, will allow Shaffer to ensure proper training is being conducted for careers such as Maintenance workers, Welders, and warehouse supervisors.
