NORFOLK, Va. – The well-known Norfolk corporate gifts store, G & W by Allogram South has taken a step further in sharing the positive actions of their clients and customers by debuting a brand-new Act of Kindness Award.
Over the course of the previous weeks, changes to businesses resulting from recent COVID-19 social distancing and stay at home measures have brought unprecedented challenges to the nation, individual states and local communities. Fortunately, these times of uncertainty are highlighted by tremendous acts of kindness from local businesses and from individuals.
“At Allogram, a company that prides itself on harnessing the power of recognition, we want to put the spotlight on these companies and individuals and recognize them for going above and beyond during these trying times. But we can't do it without the help of those individuals and company leaders that are experiencing these acts of kindness firsthand,” states owner of G&W by Allogram South Amanda Gianotti.
The locally owned and operated business will be rolling out it's Act of Kindness Award. In the coming weeks they will be asking individuals and companies to share Acts of Kindness via email to recognizesomeone@allogram.com. The team will review submissions on a daily basis and share them throughout the week on various social media platforms. At the end of each week the Norfolk engraving experts will be pick one act of kindness to highlight as the story of the week. The weekly Act of Kindness winner will receive a commemorative keepsake.
