Pensacola, Fla. – Award Masters Inc. is a beloved store known for selling promotional products in Pensacola, FL. The company has a devotion to the community they serve, and they are ecstatic to highlight local heroes who recently received one of the top awards in the nation. Recently, 16 people were recognized with the Purple Heart award, for their heroic actions during the recent attack at the Pensacola Naval Air Station (NAS).
The award was presented by the Navy, to honor those whose actions during the attack saved lives. The attack took place at NAS in December 2019, in a classroom located on the base. Several of the people honored with the prestige award were wounded during the shooting. One tying his belt around his arm after being shot, before proceeding to help others to safety.
Awards Masters Inc. is proud to have these heroes as a part of the Pensacola community. During the shooting many service members and civilians helped lead authorities to the shooter neutralizing the threat quickly.
