Beloved Pensacola Awards Store Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Pensacola, FLA. – Award Masters is thrilled to celebrate its 40th year serving the Pensacola community. The Pensacola awards store was founded in 1981 by Michael Schmitz, then bought in 2006 by Eddie and Tammi Hill. To celebrate this monumental occasion Award Masters is giving away free 10 ½ by 13-inch pad folders with every purchase over 100 dollars. This giveaway is a $49 value.

During his time in the industry owner Eddie Hill has completed a variety of projects, when asked what his favorite project was, he stated, “One of my favorite projects was when we engraved these 12inch x 12inch travertine tiles as a fundraiser for St. Sylvester Church in Gulf Breeze. We did over 360 of them and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for an expansion of the auditorium.”

As Pensacola’s largest awards shop, Award Masters is known for donating to the local community when every they can, they often provide name tags for the Gulf Coast Kids House, recognizing community coaches as well as donations to school tournaments and more. The Hill family has obtained many awards and achievements during their time in the industry including receiving the Certified Recognition Master Designation, truly making them experts in the field.

When asked about his favorite part of the job Hill was quoted as saying, “Seeing the power of recognition. We get to be a small part in making someone's moment last a lifetime.”
