Heirloom Culinary, a kitchenware business in Rushford, NY, has announced that they have received the the Cook's Guild Award 2015 for their heavy duty kitchen scissors. The scissors came into consideration for the award after they had received numerous positive reviews. Having been tested by a panel of juries against a number of other excellent quality products, the scissors came out on top.
"We are so proud that we have won this prestigious award," says Jack Liguori, the designer at Heirloom Culinary. "And we must thank all our wonderful customers for this, because we wouldn't even have been considered if it wasn't for all their reviews."
The Cook's Guild Award does not accept nominations for products. Rather, representatives from the award body monitor the market during a set time period and choose products that have been particularly well received. They then continue to monitor that product for a further month, before putting the item to the test themselves. This is what makes the award so special, because it can only be given to a company that has made something that is truly appreciated by the general public and that actually proves it lives up to expectations.
One of the reviews that stood out in particular for the panel of the Cook's Guild Award was given by Darnell. He said, "As soon as you remove them from the silk laced box you can tell these is a quality product. I was so tired of having to replace kitchen scissor after scissor! These are simply amazing and so worth the cost. Now that I am retired, I spend much of my time in the kitchen, and there is nothing like having quality tools. Yes you will pay more than a pair of "KitchenAid" but boy there is a huge difference. They fit well in the palm of your hand, are comfortable, and man are they sharp! If you are serious in the kitchen, then I arm yourself with this quality product. You will not regret it. Describe how strong it is for tough kitchen tools. The package of the shears box has burlap lining."
