A Local Pensacola RV Park Highlights Recent Industry Conference

Pensacola, Fla. – Avalon Landing is a local Pensacola RV Park highlighting the success of the recent industry conference. The Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) is held each year for those in the Recreation Vehicle (RV) and Campgrounds industry to help them stay up to date on the latest developments in servicing campers across the nation. This past year the conference and expo were forced to go virtual due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The hosts of the event described it as “historic,” not only because of the virtual transition but also because of the remarkable turnout at the 2020 conference.

Along with the stellar turnout, the annual conference also provided recordings of each session for members to enjoy at a late date. The OHCE 2020 included over 25 educational seminars and more than 80 vendors. The conference and expo also awarded parks and industry suppliers around the nation in 13 different categories. Some of the winners include Beaver Dam Campground winning Small Park of the year and Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest for Medium Park of the year.

 The Outdoor and Hospitality Conference and Expo is a four-day event held each year by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC). Following the success of this year, ARVC has already begun planning for next year, announcing that OHCE 2021 will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina from November 8th through November 11th, 2021.
