Pensacola, Fla. – Located just outside of Pensacola, Avalon Landing is a popular recreational vehicle (RV) park in the area, thrilled to highlight upcoming scholarship opportunities for the RV park national school. The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) offers yearly educational programs through the National School of RV Park and Campground Management, where owners and prospective owners can learn and maintain the skills needed to manage a successful RV park.
This year, the ARVC Foundation is offering scholarship opportunities to those interested in the upcoming educational programs hosted by the school. The foundation is offering two types of scholarships. One of them is for those who are interested in attending the Prospective Owner’s Workshop (POW), whereas the other scholarship is for the first and second sessions of students at the National School of RV Park and Campground Management. The spring 2021 courses are being held virtually from March 9 through March 11 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., eastern standard time.
The POW workshop is for those interested in eventually starting their campground. POW is the industry's premier workshop designed to guide future owners on the path towards a successful park opening. The workshop will include a special presentation on the value of reservation management systems provided by Astra.
The National School of RV Park and Campground management courses produce the most successful graduates in the industry. Students who complete the first year of courses receive a Management Certification and students who complete the second year of courses receive a Professional Certification.
