Home and Garden America, a business that aims to provide people with the tools to grow their own crops, has recently released a new blog post. This post highlights the seven secrets to a killer vegetable garden. The blog post is being featured in conjunction with their seed bank, but it has also been created in response to many social media posts in which people have asked for advice on how to create the best vegetable garden.
"We have created a seed vault that is proving to be very popular," says Chuck Harmon from Home and Garden America. "It contains 105 different varieties of plants, and close to 20,000 individual seeds. We don't expect people to know what to do with each of these plants, how to prepare their soil, how to deal with pests and more. Hence, we have released what we believe to be a very useful blog post to help people get the most out of their gardens."
The company's blog site features a number of other articles of interest, designed to help people get the most out of their garden, regardless of their experience, geographical location or available space. They discuss such things as urban gardening, crop rotation, making raised beds and more. All of these tips can be used with the seed bank that the company has released.
To ensure people are able to get even more information on how to best create a vegetable garden, they have also launched a YouTube channel to discuss the company's emergency seeds and what to do with them. In so doing, they are connecting more directly with their customers, garden enthusiasts and survivalists across the country. People are also encouraged to comment on the videos to ask questions should they have any.
The company has also included a 60 page, full color downloadable PDF to their website, which is the Planting and Storing guide. This PDF is available as a bonus to their emergency garden seeds vault and explains how each of the 105 varieties of plants have to planted, including details about soil temperature, planting depth, plant spacing, row spacing, indoor sowing, germination time, sun exposure, and a myriad of other information that will guarantee even a black thumb gardener to have success with their garden.
