The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy (CRSMT) has announced its newest continuing education course: cupping therapy. Cupping is a popular new bodywork modality, and this is the first cupping workshop offered in the area. The course will be offered by Shannon Gilmartin, CMT and Stacie Nevelus, LMT, two highly experienced cupping therapists. They have been teaching the technique since 2004. Furthermore, Shannon Gilmartin has recently released her book, 'The Guide to Modern Cupping Therapy: Your Step-by-Step Source for Vacuum Therapy', which stimulated the demand for professional training in this area. Cupping offers clinically proven, science based results.
