Thousand Oaks, Calif. – Express Employment Professionals, a leading Thousand Oaks employment agency, is hosting the “Avoiding the Top 6 Hiring Mistakes” seminar presented by Russ Lissuzzo.
Russ Lissuzzo, the speaker at the seminar with one of the best Thousand Oaks staffing agencies, is the Vice President of Legal and Assistant General Counsel for Express and speaks often at industry events. Lissuzzo has hands-on experience with workforce compliance since he is challenged each day with contracting, staffing and human resources issues across the United States. In 2013, he joined Express with more than 25 years of private practice experience. He is a native of Chicago and earned his business pre-law degree from Bowling Green State University and his law degree from Oklahoma City University.
Lissuzzo is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association. He speaks on topics about regulatory change to legal trend and workplace compliance. He has also spoken at presentations such as the Lawyers in the Classroom for the Oklahoma Bar Association, international and regional franchise meetings and franchise owner meetings.
The seminar will take place on Sept. 5th with morning and lunch registrations and presentations. The breakfast and registration will begin at 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The morning presentation will occur from 8:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m. The lunch registration will begin at 12 p.m to 12:30 p.m. The afternoon presentation will occur from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The seminar will be held at Ventura County Office of Education at 5100 Adolfo Road in Camarillo. The topics that will be discussed during the seminar will include Application and Interview Errors, Background Blunders, Reference Risks, Record Keeping Red Flags, Dismissing Litigation Warnings and Investigation, Discipline and Documentation.
