An Employment Agency in Thousand Oaks, CA Highlights Large Donation to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties

Thousand Oaks, Calif. - A local Express Employment Professionals sponsored a “Pay it Forward” holiday hiring drive this past year. The drive lasted from November 25th through December 20th, 2019 at the local employment agency in Thousand Oaks, CA. For every person that earned their first paycheck at the Thousand Oaks Branch, franchise owners Neil and Janet McMillian graciously donated $10 to the local Make-A-Wish.

During the drive, Express put to work 145 new employees, which resulted in a donation of $1,450 to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties. The temp agency in Thousand Oaks, CA, was able to hold a client appreciation party that generated an additional $550 in donations, making an overall contribution of $2,000 to Make-A-Wish.

Local franchise owner Neil McMillian stated, “We are happy to help people earn paychecks for the holidays, being able to pay it forward by making a donation to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties furthers our ability to help our community.”
