KINGSTON, Jamaica – The final boot camp held by Internet Income Jamaica for 2015 was held on the weekend of December 18 – 20 at the Upper Waterloo Road office in the Lee Gore Complex. The event was considered to be a resounding success, with another batch of students learning how to freelance their skills online.
Internet Income Jamaica teaches a variety of different classes throughout the year, all focused around how to earn money online from a global marketplace. Their flagship training is called Freelancing Intensive. This training introduces attendees to how to earn online as a freelancer. During the training, attendees set up their online profiles and can actually start to get jobs before they leave the training.
Due to high demand, Internet Income Jamaica has expanded their training opportunities and the most recent training that was held on December 18th, was “How To be a Virtual Assistant”. This training was specifically requested by many graduates of the freelancing intensive training.
Virtual Assistance is one of the most popular services offered in the Freelancing world. This is because many companies are cutting costs and therefore looking online to hire help to complete daily tasks.
The training is led by Sue-Tanya McHorgh, who has been a Virtual Assistant for almost 2 years and has completed over 400 jobs with over 233 client reviews. Ms. McHorgh’s personal experiences make the training unique to the fact that she is actively doing what she is teaching and is very successful.
Attendees learned what tools they will need, how to complete jobs, how to manage your time and how to get more clients. At the end of the boot camp, all students were awarded with certificates, indicating successful completion of the course.
According to trainer, Sue-Tanya McHorgh, the attendees were pleased with the information that had been delivered during the boot camp.
“Many of them left the boot camp feeling motivated…they now have the knowledge and resources they need to succeed as well as ongoing support from myself and our team,” said McHorgh.
The success of the final boot camp for the year is considered by the Internet Income Jamaica team to be a suitable end for a successful year, which saw the company expanding their range of boot camps and taking their expertise to other parts of the island.
