Kingston, Jamaica - Internet Income Jamaica’s most recent boot camp featured a top-selling Kindle publisher. Students were introduced to the steps required to create, design, publish and market their books online.
Held on the weekend of January 22-24 at Internet Income Jamaica’s training location in Kingston, the publishing boot camp attracted a number of writers who wanted to find out how they could get their works published online. Bestselling Kindle publisher, Joshua Montoya from the United States, was the main speaker and showed students how they could boost their earnings by marketing and publishing their books on the kindle platform.
Attendees of the boot camp not only learned the self-publishing process from the North Carolina native, many were also successful in having their first book published at the end of the boot camp. Additionally, many expressed their motivation to convert their future fiction and non-fiction pieces into published works, having learned the tools and steps required. Others were said to be inspired by the ideas that were discussed in terms of creating content for new books.
With over 40 books published on the Amazon marketplace, Joshua Montoya brought a wealth of information to the boot camp, which he had amassed during his two years in the business. Among the information that he imparted to students was how they could draft book content outlines, how to outsource writers for book projects and how to develop book ideas from their creative imaginations. The promotion and marketing aspects of publishing were also outlined to attendees by Montoya, along with insider secrets geared at enhancing the chances of success and maintaining profitability.
The 25 year-old self-publishing expert was pleased with the outcome and expressed his eagerness to help more Jamaicans earn an income from publishing in the future. “Very successful way of kicking off 2016 with a Publishing Boot camp filled with All-Stars. The energy in the room was amazing and I'm just ready for the next boot camp. Let's Go All-Stars!” said Montoya, who was invited to speak at the event by internet marketing guru, and CEO of Internet Income Jamaica, Alicia Lyttle.
The successful publishing boot camp put on by Internet Income Jamaica comes as the company attempts to diversify its range of training opportunities. A number of new boot camps and trainings across the island have been planned for 2016.
