Kingston, Jamaica - Young online publishing guru, Joshua Montoya, will take time out of his busy schedule to head a publishing training class being put on by Internet Income Jamaica at their location in Kingston.
Internet Income Jamaica’s latest boot camp to be held on the weekend of January 22 – 24, will feature fast-rising Kindle publisher, Joshua Montoya, who is visiting from the United States. The North Carolina native will be helping students learn how to generate income from marketing and publishing their books on the Kindle platform.
With over 2 years’ experience publishing Kindle books, Montoya has gained recognition as a self-publishing expert. The 25 year-old has published over 40 books on the Amazon marketplace, with several reaching bestseller status in a number of markets. His experience has seen him rise from obscurity to becoming a top earner in his category.
“Was working fast food before I ever got into publishing…flipping burgers and fries…to having my biggest kindle month of $2220 in royalties,” said Montoya when asked about his background in publishing.
Montoya’s progression has seen him develop a winning formula which he is planning to impart to students who sign up for the boot camp. Among the tips he will be discussing with attendees include List Building, which will teach students how to collect names and emails from online and social pages, how to market their books by optimizing their presence on Amazon, and a free launching formula for Kindle books to boost viewership and book sales via Kindle.
The publishing boot camp being put on by Internet Income Jamaica represents efforts by the internet marketing and training company to diversify their training offerings. Recognizing the need for many Jamaican writers and publishers to earn an income from their work, the company believes the workshop will assist self-publishers in finding suitable channels to market their books while earning from it.
Joshua Montoya is the latest internet marketing expert to conduct a training event being put on by Internet Income Jamaica on local soil. His visit follows Les Brown’s one-day workshop in November 2015, which attracted hundreds of Jamaicans.
