Anaheim, California - Lighthouse Treatment Center, operated under Healthcare Services, Inc., proudly announces Peter J. Davidson as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2025. Davidson's appointment signals a new chapter for the organization as it continues its mission to provide comprehensive addiction recovery services across Southern California.
Davidson, who also co founded Healthcare Services, Inc., is set to transition from his role as President to become the CEO of the organization which oversees facilities including the Lighthouse Treatment Center, Anaheim Lighthouse, and Lighthouse Community in San Diego.
"I'm honored to step into this role as CEO and continue the incredible mission of Lighthouse Treatment Center," said Davidson. "Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about creating environments where individuals can begin their recovery journeys in a supportive and compassionate way. I’m excited to bring my experience to this expanded role and look forward to working with the talented team at Lighthouse to continue providing exceptional services to our clients and their families."
Previously, Davidson served as the CEO and Co-Founder of Windstone Health Services, Inc., one of Southern California's largest privately owned behavioral healthcare providers. His leadership experience also extends to roles such as Chief Information Officer at Windstone Health Services and President of WMC Management Inc., where he oversaw the Windstone Mortgage Fund LP. Additionally, Davidson co-founded MD OfficeNet, Inc., a digital signage company, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability in diverse fields.
Davidson’s academic and personal achievements further underscore his qualifications. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has been a licensed real estate broker in California for over 30 years. Davidson also plays an active role in his Laguna Beach community, balancing his professional undertakings with personal passions for tennis, surfing, and community service, dedicating years to serving on the board of The Canyon Club in Laguna Beach, a key resource for Alcoholics Anonymous.
Davidson succeeds Timothy J. Salyer, who has officially stepped down as CEO after leading Lighthouse Treatment Center from its inception. Through Salyer’s leadership, Lighthouse grew to become a trusted name in addiction recovery.
Reflecting on his time with Lighthouse, Salyer stated, "It has been a privilege to lead an organization that impacts so many lives. Over the past 26 years, we’ve treated over 25,000 people since 1999, helping individuals reclaim their lives through recovery. We’ve seen significant changes in the industry—some for the better, some not—but our commitment to improving the quality of care has never wavered."
While Salyer looks forward to retirement, he will stay connected to the industry by serving on the Board of Directors for the Addiction Treatment Advocacy Coalition (ATAC). Additionally, he will continue to advise Lighthouse, expressing confidence in the company's leadership as it evolves.
"I’m confident Peter has the vision, drive, and expertise to take Lighthouse to new heights as CEO. He has been with the company from the beginning, most recently as President, and will guide the company moving forward. Tyler Collins will now become the President and Executive Chairman of the company and will work closely with Peter. Tyler has been actively providing the company digital marketing services for the last six years and is very familiar with the company business. Both are also on the Board of Directors. I know the team will continue to improve services as the company moves into the next quarter century," said Salyer.
Tyler Collins, new partner and Executive Chairman and at Lighthouse Treatment Center, is spearheading a transformative phase for the organization. With his involvement, the company is undergoing strategic changes across every level—from executive leadership and clinical programming to operations, finance, technology, and long-term sustainability. With a clear vision and deep commitment to quality of care, Collins brings decades of experience in behavioral health, business growth, and operational turnaround. His engagement signifies a shift toward greater accountability, innovation, and mission-driven progress for Lighthouse.
Lighthouse Treatment Center is a complete-care drug and alcohol detox and addiction treatment facility in Orange County, California, and has helped over 20,000 people recover from alcoholism and substance abuse over 20 years of business.
